10TH EDITION

200 km in 5 stages

9 to 17 October 2026

What is the TZM M'Hamid ?

The 10th edition of TZTM will take place in October 2026, with the current planned dates set from October 9 to 17, and we’re cooking up some surprises for this special year.

This trail means a lot to us. We first launched the adventure in the region of M’Hamid El Ghizlane and Zagora, then explored new routes around Merzouga, before coming back to M’Hamid in 2025 to reconnect with what really matters: the raw beauty of the desert, the warm welcome of local communities, and our partner center in nearby Zagora.

We love this area so much, for its wild landscapes and authentic atmosphere, that we’ve decided to celebrate the 10th edition right here again, at the edge of the Sahara.

The course will cover around 200 kilometers over five stages, open to both runners and walkers. The full route and details are still under development, but we promise you something challenging and memorable.

TZTM is not just a trail. It’s a shared experience, with nights spent in desert bivouacs, stories told under the stars, and friendships built along the way. It’s about pushing your limits for something that matters, supporting children with disabilities through our partner APCIZ in Zagora.

All practical information will be released in the next few weeks. For now, just know that only 60 places are available for 2026, all categories included, to keep the event personal and meaningful.

If you’re ready for a different kind of trail, this one is for you.

TZT M’HAMID

Running between dunes and mountains, in the beautiful Moroccan desert.

M’Hamid El Ghizlane, located in the province of Zagora, in southern Morocco

M’Hamid El Ghizlane is a remote desert village in the Drâa Valley, located in the far south of Morocco, near the Algerian border. Known as the last outpost before the vast Sahara, it is a place where time slows down and the desert stretches endlessly beyond the horizon.

This mystical region is steeped in nomadic history and ancestral traditions, offering a raw and authentic landscape of rocky plains, sand dunes, and ancient caravan routes. Far from the tourist paths, M’Hamid is a hidden gem for desert lovers and the starting point for true off-the-grid adventures.
