10TH EDITION

We are excited to announce the 10th edition of TZT M’Hamid, planned from October 9 to 16, 2026 (dates may shift by a few days), in the wild and sacred landscapes of southern Morocco.

This anniversary edition will take us once again to the desert region of M’Hamid El Ghizlane near Zagora, where the adventure truly began. After returning there in 2025, we were reminded just how powerful, beautiful, and meaningful this place is, and we’ve decided to stay for this special celebration.

Over five challenging stages and around 200 kilometers, runners and walkers will cross ancient oases, rocky plains, and vast dunes in one of the most untouched areas of the Moroccan Sahara. This year, we’re preparing a few surprises, the route is still under wraps, but it will reflect everything that makes TZTM so unique.

As always, this is more than a trail. It’s about connection, solidarity, and personal challenge. Evenings are spent under the stars in desert bivouacs, between nomadic simplicity and hotel comfort.

Each year, the non-profit organization Run To Start organizes the TZTM in Morocco in order to raise funds for the different associative projects.

In 2021 and 2022 Run To Start organized also the Kasterlee Trail in Belgium in order to raise additional funds for the association. More infos about the Kasterlee Trail

Thanks to these events but also to other fundraising organized throughout the year the association Run To Start was able to expand and set up various projects with the moroccan association APCIZ in the city of Zagora, the region where the first editions of the TZT was held.
